Very Important Species Monitoring (VIS)

HO's perform VIS duties to aid and assist NWP & TB in monitoring specific species such as rhino, wild dogs, brown hyena and sable that are under threat or ecological pressure, and their location and condition are recorded.

HO’s on VIS duty depart early morning and look for fresh rhino spoor to follow.	HO's divide the park into sections to patrol for rhino monitoring.
